Our Team

Lilian C. Youssef has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She has a BS degree in Healthcare Management. Born and raised in Lebanon, she knows firsthand the immense lack of health services for the poor and needy.

She started Egatha with the hope that her team can help patients through one act of love at a time.

Isabella is a Masters of Business Administration Candidate while currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Management and Marketing at Monmouth University. Her professional experience thus far has been tailored to the nonprofit and healthcare industries. She has a love for service and hopes to incorporate charity into all aspects of her life.

Karen Marino serves as the Managing Director of Underwriting for a private commercial finance company, specializing in underserved markets. She is a mother of three and has a passion for serving others. She has traveled abroad to serve in various ministries and was very moved by Egatha’s loving mission. Karen is honored to be part of Egatha’s mission.

Melissa Rizk is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a practitioner who provides behavior-analytic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She received an MS in National Security Studies and an MEd in Special Education with a Sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has a strong passion for service worldwide.

Veronica is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University. She was moved by the crisis happening in Lebanon and was motivated by Egatha’s mission. She is passionate about service and longs to translate this in everything she does.

Noah is currently finishing up his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering while simultaneously completing his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Starting in the Summer of 2024, he will begin medical school at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Noah has been involved with Egatha from the onset. His experiences with Egatha have allowed him to understand the power of serving others and the importance of learning from the individuals we help.

Mikayla Boutros is a dedicated individual with a passion for serving others. Having graduated from Siena College with a major in Biology and a minor in Healthcare Management, Mikayla is currently pursuing her legal education at Albany Law School. Drawn to the mission of Egatha, Mikayla is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her. Beyond her academic pursuits, Mikayla enjoys exploring new destinations through travel, staying active and engaged, and cherishing moments with her family including her dog Oreo.

Dr. Minari graduated from the Lebanese University Medical School and did her training in internal medicine at the American University of Beirut Hospital. Afterward, she specializes in infectious diseases at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. She was also trained in tropical medicine and hygiene at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical medicine. From 2002 to 2013, Dr. Minari was part of 11 medical missions in Asia and Africa through MSF, MDM, and ICRC. She has been working as an infectious diseases specialist at Rafic Hariri University Hospital since 2010 and is a volunteer physician at the Karam El Zaytoun dispensary in Beirut.

Dr. Mireille Matar is a team member physician for inpatient care at the Sacre Cœur hospital in Baabda district Lebanon. She has a diploma in internal medicine and infectious diseases from the Lebanese University. She also obtained a certificate in Infectious Diseases from“Université Libre de Bruxelles”, Belgium. Right now, she is a core physician infectious diseases specialist at Sacre Coeur Hospital, and Baabda Governmental University Hospital.

Dr. Marwani graduated as a medical doctor from the Lebanese University with a specialization in internal medicine and endocrinology. She joined the Egatha volunteer medical team in July 2022 to provide medical care for patients suffering from diabetes and other endocrinology problems.
